Just read a friend's blog.... http://dqbonafid3.blogspot.com/ ........

Poor fler seems so depressed..... really feel for him.... Had that sort of doubts myself, too, once upon a time. No idea why I suddenly had this conviction that a higher power existed, though. Seems so stupid, don't you think? The major religions (not including Buddhism - it's a way of life, not a religion) such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam all have this seemingly blind belief that there's a Creator somewhere, yet when others challenge their beliefs they can't accept it. They all agree on the one God, but the unenlightened say that only theirs is the true God. And somehow, it's the unenlightened that have the power to change the world with a word. A big fight over nothing.

Bbleeehhhhh....... then we have the classic case of misuse of religious authority, the Borgias. The House of Borgia controlled the papacy for a decade or more, committing incest, adultery, murder, etc. Those who use religion for their own ends should be hanged.

In the end, all theological disputes boil down to the fact that humans are eternally searching for some meaning to life, hoping that some higher being created us for some unknown reason. Hopefully, it's not just because He was bored.

Why am I trying to reason this out? The only real clue pointing to His existence is this question : If life started from bacteria, where did the first bacteria come from? Also, there's the issue of evolution. Evolution's purpose is for the continued existence of a species. However, if a species were under threat, wouldn't it become extinct before it had the chance to evolve? This isn't Pokemon, you know?

I don't even know how I ended up blogging about this. What happens when you're too bored and have an overactive brain.........
